Meet Dr. James R. Corcoran

James R. CorcoranOur staff welcomed Dr. Jim Corcoran to our team at Pinehurst Endodontics in June of 2008. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2001, he served eight years in the US Army. During that time he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency from Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division serving as a Brigade Dental Surgeon. He was then selected to attend the two year Endodontic Residency at Ft. Bragg, NC, graduating in June of 2005. A return assignment to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky as Chief of Endodontics and the Endodontic Mentor in the AEGD Residency Program completed Dr. Corcoran’s Army career.

Dr. Corcoran is currently a member of the Sandhills Study Club and the Lee County Dental Society. Professional memberships include the American Association of Endodontists, the Southeastern Endodontic Association, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society. He is also Board certified through the American Board of Endodontists.
